If this is your first time booking a lesson from Voice Studio East, you are advised to start with a consultation. During the consultation, we will assess your current vocal abilities, discuss your goals, and come up with a plan for how to reach them and how to proceed from where you are currently at. We will discuss repertoire suitable to your level and decide on a song to work on and, time allowing, explore some relevant vocal exercises to get a first taste of the next few steps.

Regular lessons can be purchased in packages of four or twelve. It is best practice to book at least one lesson per week and to have at least one (but ideally several) practice sessions between each lesson.

The lessons are based on the system of vocal technique explained in the Singing Demystified video series featuring seven registers and a strong emphasis on developing fundamental skills like onsets and legato.
