Terms of Service

Voice Studio East uses MyMusicStaff for recurring lessons, with Stripe as the payment processor. The tuition fee for the first lesson is collected during the signup process. At the end of the first lesson, you will be given the option to proceed with weekly lessons. Should you choose to do so, you will receive an invoice for the remaining lessons in the month. This invoice must be paid before the time of the next lesson.

 

After the first month, you will be billed automatically on the first day of each month according to how many times the booked weekly lesson slot occurs within the month. This means you will typically be billed for four or five lessons at the start of each month, though the number may sometimes be less in case of unavailability. The amount billed at the start of each month will never exceed the cost of five lessons at the agreed-upon price, but a late fee of up to ten dollars may be added for each week the bill remains unpaid.

 

Payments are final, but if a lesson is cancelled at least 18 hours prior to its scheduled time, the student will automatically receive a credit that can be used to schedule a replacement lesson using any available slot within 61 days of the missed or cancelled lesson. In the event of a missed lesson, or the need to make a late cancellation, or in the event that you cannot spend your make-up credit(s) in time, please contact us via email or the contact form and explain the situation. Such cases will be decided on a discretionary basis, but we are quite accommodating if it is not a regular occurrence.

The business is operating within the Central European Time (CET) timezone, with daylight savings time Central European Summer Time (CEST) starting from the last Sunday in March and lasting until the last Sunday in October. If scheduling conflicts ensue from the shift to or from daylight savings time, the onus is on the client to reschedule the implicated lesson(s).

Clients may exit the agreement at any time. To pause or discontinue lessons, or to change your lesson slot, please use the contact form or send an email to info@voicestudioeast.com. The instructor likewise is entitled to end the agreement at any time. Such an event does not entitle the client to a refund for previously completed lessons, but the client is compensated in full for any upcoming lessons that have already been paid. If the instructor finds it necessary to cancel remaining make-up lesson credits, the client is compensated in full for these as well.
